Recent Rainfall is the worship songwriting ministry of John and Helen Green, based in Goodyear Arizona. Through the website www.RecentRainfall.com, they make their songs and chord charts freely available to worshippers and worship leaders around the world. In 2004, the song 'Declare Your Glory' was used in the March for Jesus/Jesus Day rallies in the US, and in January 2007, 'Show Your Glory Lord' appeared on Worship Leader Magazine’s Song Discovery CD # 60. These doors which God opened have helped introduce Recent Rainfall songs into a variety of churches.

While congregational worship is the central focus of Recent Rainfall, they also provide songs for worship-oriented artists such as Jonathan Smith and Clay Jacobs. In the past year, John has teamed up with songwriters Elman Authement, David Delgado, and Lara Marriott, in writing new songs of worship. John and Helen are happy to be a part of the great song of praise rising to Heaven from the redeemed of every tribe and nation. May God be glorified, for He alone is worthy!
